Testing Facilities at Swadlincote Diesel

Our workshops are equipped with the latest technology, proving our commitment to the ever changing world of electronics and diesel systems for euro 4,5 and 6 emission standards.  Below is a selection of machinery including the new Bosch EPS 708 which enables us to test and repair the latest Common Rail technology.

Injector testing

Bosch EPS 708

We use the Bosch EPS 708 test bench for testing and repairing Bosch Common-rail diesel pumps and injectors.

This enables us to carry out highly accurate testing of diesel components to Bosch OE test plans.

This specialist Bosch test bench is designed for CP1, CP3 & CP4 fuel pumps, solenoid valve Passenger car CRI Injectors, Solenoid valve Commercial CRIN Injectors & Bosch CRI Piezo injectors.

The bench is capable of testing the latest injectors due to the testing rail designed for pressures up to 2,500 bar.

We use the built-in test data database supplied by Bosch to make sure the injectors are testing to Bosch OE specification.

Bosch EPS 118

The Bosch EPS118 is a single line injector tester, this is used when customers require a fast and efficient injector test and report.

As this is a Bosch approved bench with built in OE test plans we can test the injector accurately for our customers.

The Bosch EPS118 is a fully automatic test that is simple and has a fast setup time giving us fast identification of defective injectors with
a pass/fail report printout making it easier to show the customer the condition of their injector.

Bosch EPS 815

The Bosch EPS 815 test bench is used for testing Bosch EDC Inline fuel pumps, VP and Common Rail CP1, CP3 fuel pumps.

We also have the Bosch Cambox, we are able to test Bosch EUI (Electronic Unit Injectors)and UP (Unit Pumps) applications. These include Commercial vehicles like Scania, Renault, Iveco, Mercedes, Volvo and Deutz.

Passenger Car VW, Audi, Seat PD injectors are also tested and repaired using the Cambox.

Bosch EPS 707

Bosch EPS707 is used for testing Bosch and other application Inline fuel pumps.

Hartridge CRI-PC4

We are Delphi OE approved to test and repair injectors using their IRIS test data. Giving customers the satisfaction there injectors are being tested and repaired to Genuine OE specification.

Continental have also approved us as an OE agent. Allowing us to test and repair injectors to there OE specification using official Continental test data and genuine spare parts.

It is also capable of testing several other types of injectors including Bosch, Denso, Caterpillar, John Deere

  • We can test all makes of common rail applications
  • Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Siemens/continental VDO injectors
  • Measure injector delivery, coil resistance, response time and back leak flow
  • Full diagnosis of tested injectors, including full printed test report
  • Test, repair and re-manufacture Delphi injectors back to OE spec with all OE parts supplied with new CII and CIII codes

Hartridge AVM2 PC

We have 2 AVM2-PC test benches. The first test bench is used for testing fuel pumps. Ranging for vintage pumps like Simms, Minimec and CAV DPA through to DP200 and VE right through to modern day common rail fuel pumps.

It has the flexibility to test rotary and inline fuel pumps from several manufacturers.

The second AVM2-PC is used for Hartridges’ Cambox for testing and repairing Delphi EUI and EUP to Delphi Iris OE test specifications. The applications covered are Land Rover TD5, Volvo A-Series, Volvo E1, Volvo E3, DAF Smart Injectors and DAF Unit Pump.

The Sabre CRi Master

The Sabre CRi Master is used for testing and recoding Continental injectors suitable for several applications from Ford, PSA, Mazda, Vw, Seat and Audi.

It also allows us to test and recode several Denso injectors, including Ford Transits, Toyotas, Mazda and Nissan applications.

It is also used to test the latest commercial injectors, testing for Volvo using the Delphi F2 fuel system, Mercedes-Benz MDEG fuel system and
Mercedes-Benz utilising Boschs’ Crin 4.2 Injectors.

Toledo

The Toledo is used for HEUI injector testing and repairs.
This is for applications including Isuzu, Caterpillar and Navistar.

We are able to test and recalibrate fuelling delivery quantities and back leakage quantities from the injectors.

AVM2-PC + HK1500

We have 2 AVM2-PC test benches. The first test bench is used for testing fuel pumps. Ranging for vintage pumps like Simms, Minimec and CAV DPA through to DP200 and VE right through to modern day common rail fuel pumps.

Heavy Duty Universal Cambox

The MPU 500 EUI/EUP cambox kit is designed to perform and repair tests for different types of Electronic Unit Injectors (EUI) and Electronic Unit Pumps (EUP).

  • With one cambox, four camshafts of different lifts, plus the required adapters, more than 20 kinds of EUIs and EUPs on the market can be tested.
  • We use this cambox to specialise in testing and flow testing all CATERPILLAR and CUMMINS EUI applications.

Petrol testing

Excalibur

The Excalibur is used for testing Petrol GDI fuel injectors.
GDI injectors are used in modern vehicles to meet the latest emission standards. They are used in many vehicles ranging from Ford, Range Rover, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeout, Volkswagen and many more.

We are able to test injectors electrical resistance and inductance. The flow and spray patterns of the fuel injectors. Giving customers a report on the condition of there injectors.

ASNU

The ASNU injector tester is used for testing PFi fuel injectors as this gives fast diagnosis of flow and spray pattern faults.

Vintage and Classic

Although we have all the latest technology we still have the capabilities to and repair classic and vintage applications for both injectors and fuel pumps.

Our old testing facilities are: Hartridge 1100m2, Bosch 707, Pop testers.

Hartridge 1100

This is our classic bench used for testing vintage pumps. We are are able to test and recalibrate pumps from several vintage fuel systems including Gardener, Simms, Minimec, Majormec, Bosch and CAV Lucas.

It is used for testing Cummins PT fuel pumps using Hartridges’ mobile test stand.

Hartidge Pop Tester

The original analogue injector tester which has been used for many years measuring NOP, Back leakage and Nozzle Seat leakage. Specialing in vintage, classic applications ranging from Ford Tractor, Lister, Bedford, Perkins, Bosch, CAV, Denso, Zexel

Hartridge Pop Test 2

Electronic injector tester used for measuring NOP, Back leakage and Nozzle Seat leakage. This used mainly for heavy duty commercial higher NOP injectors.
