Common diesel problems

We can test any type of injector to determine what fault is present. Some testing does require specialist equipment and training so please contact us to determine what service level is required.

As many visitors will see from the possible causes listed below there are usually more than one potential reason for any failure or problem.

We would ask that customers appreciate how complex it can be at times to diagnose problems when presented with such a number of variables, and that on occasions one or more of the causes listed below will be interacting with each other depending on the age, mileage and condition of the vehicle to give the result of unsatisfactory performance, reliability or economy.

For this reason it can be very difficult to diagnose faults via e-mail and telephone based on pure descriptions alone.

Ideally the vehicle needs to be examined by one of our trained engineers so give Swadlincote Diesel a call.
